The show was at the Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric in Baltimore. It was kind of a weird little area, where the roads weren't all perfectly straight like in my hometown in Iowa. I've noticed that A LOT about towns on the East Coast. The roads all go in weird curves and angles. Anyway! We parked in the event parking, which was something ridiculous like $16, and headed inside, grabbed some drinks, and found our seats. Our seats happened to be 100-103AA. Which were the first four seats infront of stage on the left side of the theater. They were good. Real good. Like almost as good as our 3D TV good.
Anywho, for those of you who don't know who Jim Gaffigan is, well... he's a pretty funny comedian, who jokes about his wife, having kids, and life in general. Anyway, he does a pretty famous skit about Hot Pockets. Well... I'll just show you. He was pretty funny at the show, and he even did dead pockets so I was sated.
After the show, we sat in the parking garage for what seemed like an eternity. Then out of nowhere EVERYONE starts honking and screaming. Like I'm kind of worried that the parking garage is collapsing. Then we realize it's because the Ravens won, and were that much closer going to the Superbowl. (SideNote: Yes, they are in the Superbowl, I'm just really behind on posting).
After finally escaping the parking garage, and the crazy Ravens fans, we went to the Italian restaurant chain Bertucci's that's closer to our places Towson. It's pizza and pasta, and it's pretty fast and yummy. So it's always good when you don't really know what you want. However, it's no Little Italy, which I hope to be doing a post on pretty soon (hint to my boyfriend)!!
